It is a dinner size plate with a gorgeous bowl of fruits and flowers

away in Misenum from which vantage point he could see the eruption and feel the preceding earthquakes

It is green painted tole decorated with painted golden bronze designs. Condition is great with a few small dings and scratches. This would be beautiful hanging on a wall with flowers or greenery in the basin. It would also be pretty in a bathroom to fill the basin with washcloths, soaps, lotions, and other misc toiletries for guests.
