It features the head and body of a man, with the French motto: "Gardez votre loyaute. Maintenez vos droite" which translates as Maintain Your Loyalty to Uphold Your Right. I imagine the motto is part of a heraldic crest, and derived from loyalty to your King Lord, but it translates equally well to other aspects of life relationships. It's
