Domaine Dugat-Py 'Cuvee Coeur de Roy' Gevrey-Chambertin, 2018 meletti The lemon peel adds balanceLoc Dugat Py combines grapes from three separate lieux dits Les Epointures, Combes du Dessus and Les Marchais to produce this stunning, old vine village Gevrey Chambertin. Floral, dense and intensely coloured, it has 50% each of whole bunches and new wood, violet and aniseed aromas, succulent tannins and intense blueberry and black cherry fruit. Not cheap, but this is as good as many Premiers Crus.
