Victorian Carved Nut Pendant steel Old European Cut & RoseDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A bizarre and quite remarkable antique pendant carved from a nut. It dates from the late 19th Century, expertly carved to form a grotesque face, with exaggerated features, orange glass bead eyes, and wearing some sort of hood or cap.
