It is in the Watteau pattern by New Wharf Pottery and dates somewhere before or shortly after 1900. The romantic scene depicts a couple in a lush garden sitting on a bench. Both are in period clothing, the woman is holding a mandolin while the young man is playing the flute. This scene appears on each side of the lamp while the top and bottom have a lovely border of lattice
