Late Victorian IN MEMORY OF Locket Mourning Ring rivière necklace some loss to the enamelDATE: Victorian, c. 1895 A superb antique memorial ring dating from the late 19th Century. Its finished in intricate black enamel work, including cross motifs and the words In Memory Of around the back of the band. The face is hinged, opening to reveal a square locket compartment with glass front. To the inner band is an inscription that simply reads: Mother. 15th Sep. 1895 Its modelled in 18 karat gold throughout, with a full set of Chester
