BLACK BUTTERFLY - Yarn Dyed to Order - Ikat Colorway jan19 The brim is made usingBlack Butterfly is certainly one of my most dramatic colorways. I dyed the yarn black with short segments of burgundy rose, sea foam green, bright blue, and lilac fairly evenly spaced around the skein. If you knit or crochet with this, each of the thin stripes of color will be one or two stitches, giving it a really cool effect. Unlike the other butterfly colorways which were inspired by particular butterfly species, this one is pure imagination. : )
