Georgian Navette Pearl Memorial Ring Size:3.5 mainly for use in jewelleryDATE: Georgian, 1795 An incredible antique navette memorial ring with a finely painted oval panel set within a halo of seed pearls. The panel depicts a lady in mourning, stood by a plinth and urn, with the words "Forgive Thy Wish That Would Have Kept Thee Here". To the back of the head is an inscription that reads: "Dorothy Surtees, ob 20 Nov 1795, aet 74". STONES Natural seed pearls MEASUREMENTS Head: 2. 6 x 1. 7cm Width of band: 2. 1mm WEIGHT 6. 4g
