Pair Antique 18thC French Louis XV Inlaid Marquetry Ormolu Tambour Cabinets 1780 Recently Added His 'hard-edged' paintingsA very fine pair of 18th century antique French Lois XV marquetry inlaid and ormolu mounted rosewood, walnut and fruitwood, tambour front side cabinets, circa 1780. This very elegant pair of antique cabinets are of bombe or Serpentine shape, the rosewood and walnut cases are lavishly inlaid with satinwood and fruitwood floral marquetry inlay. The tops are inlaid with a neoclassical flowering urn flanked by a pair of birds, the sides of the cabinets
