Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'Julien Barrot' Rouge 2022 Punset a leg of lambSourced from several parcels of old vines averaging 70 years in age, the 2022 Domaine La Barroche Chteauneuf du Pape Cuve Julien Barrot is a Grenache led blend (~60 63%) rounded out with Mourvdre, Syrah, and a handful of supporting varieties including Counoise, Cinsault, and Clairette Rose. Raised in a mix of cement, smaller casks, and demi muids and coming in at a full 15% alcohol, it opens with a deep ruby plum color and a wonderfully complex nose
