Edwardian Multi Gem Set Riviere Garnet Victorian silver and silver giltA stunning Harlequin necklace from the Edwardian era with multi coloured gems that are all claw set. Featuring a central bright pink topaz, 13 chrysoberyls, 4 red garnets, 4 hessonite garnets and 2 aquamarines. All these stones are interspersed with cabochon amethysts and natural pearls. Set in 18 carat gold. Harlequin means "many coloured" and was originally named after the colourful costumes of the 16th century Harlequin comedy actors. It was
