Flowers are creamy yellow, white, green or purple that bloom in spring or summer. It produces a small dark purple to black fruit, but it is NOT edible for humans. It grows well in full sun with either moist, well drained or limestone soils and tolerates moderate amounts of salt wind and occasional inundation
