The pyrite cubes sit within the natural host rock and display very nicely. This locality's limestone (marl) matrix can dissolve in water, so the specimens matrix needs to stay dry for these pyrite cubes to stay in place. Locality: Navajn, La Rioja, Spain Measurement: Approx. 98mm x 80mm x 80mm Weight: 910 grams FYI: When mined, these pyrite cubes typically do not stay in place on the host rock
