Antique Early Georgian Large 4 Panel 3 Drawer Hinged Top Mule Chest Coffer 1740 Recently Added The painting is signed lowerA good & large antique English early Georgian oak Mule Chest coffer, circa 1740. A very good sized antique mule chest from the Lancashire area, located in the Northwest of England & from the middle part of the reign of King George II. The hinged lid with hand forged iron strap hinges enclosing a generous storage area for clothing or bedding, to the left is a lidded candle till with a hand forged lock and two small drawers below. The front of the chest
