It opens with aromas of black currant and baking spices along with the customary notes of vanilla and coconut. It is a rich, dense wine but shows restraint in extraction and structure and is remarkably approachable for a Cabernet so young. The density is consistent as the wine moves across the palate and it finishes with a tightly wound but persistent and lingering
