Victorian Taille d'Épargne Pin diamond earrings Size 5 1/4Measuring app. 1 1 8 x 1 inch, with pearl center and engraved detail with black enamel, fashioned in 14k gold. Circa 1870. Taille d'pargne is a technique where fine lines are incised into metal and filled with black enamel. It was popular during the mid 19th century.
