If the T shirt from their 20th Anniversary Tour is to be believed, they were "Probably the Best Band in Strathaven"a tongue in cheek nod to the famous Carlsberg slogan. The band's members came from a strong punk background. Frontman Ricky Warwick had previously undertaken session and touring work with New Model Army, although he did not appear on any of their studio recordings. In
