Written at the foot of a mountain, a short walk from the sea, it sets aside the synths of her earlier records for the warmer textures of woodwinds, saxophone, Hammond organ and piano, with acoustic guitar holding everything in place. These are quiet, unhurried songs about intimacy and perception, about how two people can share
