The ring dates to circa 1880–1890 and is stamped 18ct with the maker’s mark “AH” to the interior of the shank

Victorian Gold Drop Earrings Fire Opal A very pretty and delicate*Reserved* Victorian 15ct gold drop earrings, the gold balls suspended from an articulated drop with ball decoration on the outside and a swinging bar section in the centre from a smaller ball top. Thee earrings would originally have had shepherds hooks but have been altered to post fittings. Circa 1870. Measurements: 5cm long x 1. 5cm wide at the widest point.
