12th Century Islamic Persian Khurasan Silver Inlaid Bronze Calligraphy Inkwell Decorative Arts Circa 1860An ancient Khurasan silver and copper inlaid bronze inkwell, Eastern Persia or Herat, 12th 13th century, from an important private Middle East collection. The inkwell is of cylindrical shape with a domed shaped lid with dot shaped silver and copper inlay in a stylized floral form, the lid having a knop shaped finial.
