Unlike a flatbed scanner, a Coolscan scans the film directly not through glass for maximum detail. Scan resolution is up to 4000dpi. Fully tested, this scanner includes the SA 21 slide adapter, MA 21 negative strip feeder, SF 200 bulk film feeder, USB cable and power cord.
