Hailing from the USA and known as the "Smooth Hydrangea" Annabelle is an outstanding flowering shrub for a shaded area. Deciduous in winter but by early summer Annabelle produces huge, rounded flower heads that brighten those shady areas of the garden. Flowering for up to two months, the flower heads start out lime green and mature to a brilliant white and then back to pale green again
