The vivid blue enamel blends different shades in a masterful way and includes a natural pearl drop. The brooch is also enamelled in a neutral white on the reverse. The piece has makers marks for Child & Child, with a fitted maker's case. Child and Child were an English jewellery firm known for its enamel and Art Nouveau jewellery. It was started by
