BCY 652 Spectra Bowstring Material 1/4lb (fast flight) cut 1 3/16″ cutHMPE Fastflight or Spectra string material has been around for years. It was first introduced after Dacron string material as it provided greater speed and less creep. Compound bows in the 1980s 2000s used Spectra or 652 from BCY but it has now been replaced by materials with no stretch or creep such as 452X from BCY and 8125.
