Antique Portuguese Pottery Palissy Style Majolica Lobster Wall Dish Plate, 1900 Redo A diminutive bureau bookcase InA good antique Palissy Ware style Portuguese majolica wall plate, circa 1900. The plate decorated with a large lobster to the center resting on a textured ground and flanked by two sets of mussel shells. The plate having a a manganese glaze with shades of brown, blue, cream and pink, the rear of the plate with a cream glaze and pierced to allow the plate to be hung on the wall. Condition is excellent, no damage or restoration. 9" diameter X 2. 25"
