1950s Illusion & Lace Dress sundress Adorable 1940s faux shirtwaist with1950s cocktail dress with a mesh and eyelash lace bodice and rayon crepe skirt. Bodice (when worn on a form with arms!) give the illusion of being off the shoulder with small lace sleeves. The lace forms a sweetheart neckline accented with velvet trim. The crepe body of the dress has flattering vertical seaming through the waist and tucks that let out over the hips for ease. Dress closes with a single hook and eye at the nape of the neck and side
