The straps are faced with a long pile velvet type fabric for extra softness

There is a spot above the first bow (see photo) and one at the center seam of the skirt (last photo)

I replace the original insoles as they were brittle and curling but have saved them and will be included with the shoes

The bottom has metal feet to protect the suede

1940s Blue & Green Buffalo Check Dress art_deco The straps are faced withLate 40s blue and green buffalo check dress in a very soft and lightweight wool flannel. No itchiness, can be worn against the skin. Bodice has shoulder pads and 3 4 dolman sleeves with an underarm gusset for ease. Stand collar above a V neckline with diagonal rows of tucks that culminate in a curved waist seam. Full skirt and side metal zipper closure. Original belt is present. Very nice condition. I didn't note any fading or staining. Just a handful
