A thick chestnut brown leather, I believe its made from horsehide similar to the 1930s and 1940s leather jackets. I think this probably dates from the 1960s Judging by the more fitted cut and front closures, however the style is quite similar. Its quite a petite fit, so the sleeves are a little short. I wore it once as a UK 8
