1940s W.A.V.E.S. Skirt evening_gown tears or other issues aside1940s white W. A. V. E. S. uniform skirt (W. A. V. E. S. were the women's reserve of the US Navy during WW2). Fabric feels like rayon or possibly a rayon cotton blend, nice drape. There are two slanted hip pockets and a side metal zipper. The waist was taken in at some point with three tiny darts in just the band. They can be let back out very easily to gain another 2" in the waist. Overall excellent condition, some minor age related wear but I didn't
