Circa 2003 2005, they were created by the French fashion house during John Gallianos lauded reign as Creative Director. The sole is carved from wood, as is the towering heel. It has been lacquered to a glamorous high shine finish and hand painted with graceful hibiscus flowers in lilac and plum set against vibrant green stalks and metallic gold detailing. The flowers climb up the heel
