Beautifully made silk jersey surplice peplum blouse top - volup 1920s coat I have cleaned by hand

I have cleaned by hand - there are a couple of small marks to the reverse (gold) side and one near the edge

Length from nape to hem approx 39”

but overall initial impression is still good

Colour variation to the metallic weave in a ‘stripe’ on both sleeves

Beautifully made silk jersey surplice peplum blouse top - volup 1920s coat I have cleaned by handBlack c. 1950s jersey blouse dolman sleeves, draped surplice crossover bodice and asymmetric tie peplum. Feels like a silk jersey. This is such a nice quality garment, and so hard to do it justice not on a person! Dolman shape sleeves with small underarm gussets. Very nicely made with lots of handfinished seams etc. Tie to lhs of peplum, and fastens with inner hook and eye to internal petersham waistband. (Shown with a later bias cut moss crepe skirt,
