it was not until 2013 that the first single malt whiskey was launched under its own name
which give the whiskey its intense taste and dark colour
The grants and teachers were early champions of the single malt category and Glendronach distillery bottlings were produced for most of the 20th century until mothballed in 1996 by Allied Distillers
