There are rumors that the distillery was founded twelve years earlier as the Milton Distillery. Glenkinchie is located just outside Edinburgh and benefits from the region's tourism. The distillery's single malts are part of the famous Classic Malts of Scotland series and embody the floral and mild style of the Scottish Lowlands. Glenkinchie 27 years matured the entire time in "refill" barrels
