Grassl Alte Birne 0,5l, alc. 38 Vol.-% Whisky der Monats hints of bright fruit withIn Berchtesgaden, under the watchful eye of the Watzmann, lies the Grassl gentian distillery, which has been practicing the traditional craft of gentian, masterwort and juniper distilling since 1692. The several months of storage of the Williams distillate in oak give Grassl's "Alte Birne" a golden appearance. The fine spirit harmonizes on the palate with its fruity sweet note and a fine, elegant wooden barrel character.
