Effective for short term treatment when diet and fluid replacement are not sufficient and no antibiotic is indicated. Initial dose for adults: 2 capsules, repeat dose: 1 capsule after each unformed stool, max. 4 capsules day. Do not use in children under 12 years of age, with bloody stools, fever, acute colitis or certain infections; in case of liver
