Tobias Kruse - Deponie youth including EarthDeponie, the most recent project by photographer Tobias Kruse explores feelings of fear, anger and aggression in contemporary East German society, reminiscent of Tobias own youth, growing up in 1990s East Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The title Deponie (Deposit) refers to the toxic waste dump Ihlenberg near the city of Schwerin, where both the former Eastern and Western Governments used to dispose of their toxic waste.
