The pattern is based on the herringbone trousers worn by the USMC in the 1940s, and has been given a special wash treatment to create a strong puckering effect, giving it a vintage feel. While there are many Ivy League inspired chinos, these trousers have a classic, wide silhouette and a rugged military feel.
